Fine, Performing, and Musical

University Hill, albeit a powerhouse in the academic field, is also a school that focuses heavily on its fine and performing arts. Its Theatre on the Hill Junior and Senior companies put on multiple performances each year that are always heavily loaded, including HillFest, where Visual Arts, as well as the Concert Band, are showcased as performing art teams.

All students must complete at least one arts or applied skills course at the grade 10, 11, 12 level in order to graduate, although virtually all students take more than the requirement to create a healthy balance in their lives.

Ms Fergusson teaches all the Visual Arts courses including Ceramics, 2D Art, Photography 11/12, and Independant Studies 12. Ms. Fergusson will also be teaching Civilizations 12 next year with an art history focus.
